Ryan has worked in the health and fitness field since 1998. His introduction to personal training began at Western Washington University, where he assisted with a graduate study examining the effects of strength training on older adults. After working with several inspiring individuals and witnessing the significant improvements in their health and physical capabilities, he became passionate about helping others achieve a better quality of life through fitness.

After earning his B.S. in Exercise and Sports Science, Ryan built a career as both an Exercise Physiologist and Personal Trainer, working with clients of all ages, experience levels, and health backgrounds. He has obtained multiple industry-recognized certifications and continues to expand his expertise by participating in scientific workshops, health-related conferences, and ongoing professional development.

Ryan’s training philosophy is rooted in science and personalized care. He is dedicated to designing effective, functional, and sustainable programs tailored to each client’s needs. By staying current with health and fitness research, he translates evidence-based knowledge into practical strategies that promote long-term progress. Whether helping clients return to activity after an injury, improve overall health, or perform at a competitive level, Ryan provides thoughtful coaching, encouragement, and accountability.

From 2005 to 2016, Ryan co-owned a respected personal training studio in Silicon Valley. He and his family later relocated to Lake Oswego, Oregon, before settling in Sammamish, Washington in 2019, where they have enjoyed being part of the Pacific Northwest community.
